Chocolate Cherry Cordials

"These are the best cordial cherries I've ever tasted." We hear that often at Burst's. The reason is because we use Black Port Cherries. Maraschino cherries are typically the base ingredient for cordial cherries, but we find them bland and too sweet. We instead soak black cherries in Black Port, producing a marinated cordial cherry with more complex flavor that pairs better with Gourmet chocolate. Let the kids have Maraschino cherries. These are for adults.
